Air-Delivered Munitions in Desert Storm
These figures reflect air-delivered munitions expended by tactical elements of the USAF, USN, and USMC during the 1991 Gulf War, excluding any cannon rounds that may have been fired and missiles fired by U.S. Army helicopters. It is not clear whether the figures include rounds that were not actually employed against a target, such as weapons jettisoned or lost aboard aircraft that were shot down. (Thanks to Jussi Saari for pointing this out.) All costs reflect 1991 U.S. dollars. Source: Gulf War Air Power Survey, Volume 5.
